We booked one that brought you to a so called 'resort'. We booked a tour on the boat as they said its the best way to see or do anything on the island for the short time you are there. I believe most of the reviews seem to focus on the dissapointment in the cruise ship itself which is the reason i wanted to write a review as i believe the ship itself was the highlight of the bahamas trip and the actual docking in the bahamas was the negative. Most people just lay out on a lawn chair and soak up with sun - and why not - its a relaxing ferry ride to the Bahamas - NOT a luxuery cruise ship During the actual few hours that you are on the ship you eat (a okay/decent breakfast on the way there and I really enjoyed the dinner on the way home) you can look around, they have a bar, a tiny pool and a casino. The Cruise Ship itself is nothing special - but you have to look at it more like a ferry then a cruise ship.
If you are a cruise ship enthusiast this trip is probably not for you. After the idea of visiting the Bahamas became exciting it was hard to shrug it off even after reading the bad reviews.
